IIn October 1909, Ahn discussed with U Deok-sun, Jo Do-seon, and Yu Dong-ha over a plan to assassinate Hirobumi Ito during his visit to Harbin and finally shot Ito to 

death at the Harbin Railway Station on Oct. 26 the same year.
